Intoxicating...

Hmmm... the above painting was for sale but I'm thinking I might just keep it for myself because I'm in love with it. I started by hanging it in my kitchen, but it's now made it's way into my art studio and is hanging above my new window bench and it just looks way too good to part with. I know, I'm so selfish.

Super Cute Desk Calendars

Whoot Whoot!

Singing Souls is SOLD. I'm a little sad to see it go as I really, really, love this piece, but so happy it's going to an awesome home! The man who bought it is someone who I really admire as a writer, and a person. He's got class. He appreciates music. He loves art. I am always happy when I sell art to people that mean something to me. It's a compliment that he bought this piece and a good reminder of why I create art in the first place. This piece suits him perfectly.

Smashed

OMG I loooooove this one! It's my favourite of the series by far. The bright colors. The fun, the excitment excitement. The bottles are partying. It's halloween, or Christmas, or New Years Eve. It doesn't really matter what day it is because they're just having so much fun. They'll look back on it years from now and say, "Remember that time we drank each other and got sooooooo smashed? ...OMG that was so much fun!"

Raining Wine

As I said yesterday, I've got TWO paintings left to post. This is one of them. The other one is probably my favorite of the entire series so I'm saving the best for last. But I really love this one too.

When I look at this piece, I see rain. It just seems to have a melancholic feel to it. I really love that about it, and perhaps that's because I can relate to it somehow. Sometimes when the sun doesn't shine for days, I think the only thing that could possibly cheer me up is if the rain turned into wine.

Sneak peak

I love this photo. And yes, it's actually me. It's a little sneak peak at the colors in one of the two paintings I have left to post in my series. I'm saving the best for last and I can hardly wait. Stay tuned!
