So, I'm sure not religious, but I loooove this photo. It's kind of got an erie, but at the same time heavenly, sort of vibe to it. Don't cha' think?

August Break 2011 is officially over today and although it got me off the hook for blogging in August (which was a nice break), I can't say I took it where I wanted to take it. I had all sorts of plans to get creative with my photos and learn some new tips and tricks, but I've been so flippin' busy that I barely had time to breath. Oh well. I got lots of other things accomplished this month which is what really matters and I'll be sharing lots with you here, over the next few weeks.

I love this photo. This is Grady's father's car and Grady hopes that one day he will somehow acquire it. I can see why too, it looks good on him and the girls.

Leonardo da Vinci

   
On the weekend, we made a quick trip down to Spokane to see the Leonardo Da Vinci exhibit. It was well worth the trip. That Leonardo was one smart cookie! So many cool inventions and of course, the Mona Lisa.
Kienna found out that Leonardo da Vinci was born the exact same day as her: April 15th. Well, give or take a few hundred years!

The Stanley Cup!

   
It's Day 17 of the photo challenge and today I'm showing off someone else's photo. Jeff Banman of Photos 'n Motion took this on the weekend while the Stanley Cup was in town. Thanks Jeff! Grady was finally able to check off something from his bucket list: A family photo with the cup. Awesome. This photo will be on permanent display in Grady's Man Cave.
