Here's a piece that I've been working on, (on and off again) for a couple of months. I just wasn't happy with the way it was turning out so I put it away for a while and waited until the inspiration hit me to finish it. Sometimes it's better not to force things and just leave it up to the universes to decide whether or not it's the right time. Pictured left is what I had posted a few weeks ago (sort of half finished) but I sure wasn't loving it. Pictured right is the final result. I'm really loving the transformation. Of course I just couldn't resist the urge to throw in a little zebra print. It added a little visual excitement which really made this piece come alive. It also inspired me to come up with a Zebra Martini! Give it a try....
Zebra Martini
2 oz. Vodka
1 oz. White creme de cacao
1/2 oz. Sambuca
1/2 oz. Light cream
Combine ingredients in shaker. Add ice, shake and strain into your martini glass and then drink at least two, they're sooooooo...
