"The arts teach children that problems can have more than one solution and that questions can have more than one answer."
- Ten Lessons the Arts Teach, Written by Elliot Eisner and commissioned by the National Art Education Association (2000)
Incase you haven't already noticed, Brandy Ink has branched out and is now offering Art Classes for Kids. Soooooo much fun! With consistent budget cuts to our school system here in Creston, the arts are getting left in the dust and Brandy Dyer thinks that's unacceptable. Art is an important part of learning!
It's been proven that creative expression is an integral part of creative and cognitive growth. Art promotes independence, communication, courage, and self-esteem. I mean seriously, who doesn't want that for their kids?
If you are interested in more information such as: when, where, how much? Please contact Brandy Dyer @ firstname.lastname@example.org and she will add you to the email list with upcoming classes and info. Or, stop by Imagine Ink, and talk to Brandy in person. 139 10th Ave. N. Creston
