Exciting news - Part 1

There are some very exciting things happening at my shop. Today marked DAY 1 of demolition at Imagine Ink. Yay! Demolition for what and why? Well, I can't say exactly (hee hee), but let's just say we're a few walls lighter around this place! Who needs walls anyway? I like to think outside the box and that's a whole lot easier when I'm not inside one!

There are two contractors busy at work in the back and I'm about to lose my mind with anticipation of what's to come. You see, I really hate waiting, like, for anything really, so waiting for this exciting news to unfold is just about going to KILL me. I'm dying to tell. DYING.

Don't worry, I'll keep you posted every step of the way, well, in a suspense-ful kind of way!

More Amazing Trees

Some of the art that came from this month of classes is blowing my mind. I could put up trees forever on my blog because there are so many I adore. This one is a favorite of mine... great job Meghan! I am so proud of my students at Art Classes for Kids for being so amazing.

Big Changes Coming!

Look at this cutie patootie. I mean, come on, don't you just want to squeeze his cheeks? He is soooo cute. Plus, he's quite an amazing little artist for 8 years old with more talent than most adults. You rock Hayden! Thanks for taking part in Art Classes for Kids.

I have been too busy to blog much lately but I will say that I have BIG BIG BIG news coming and it's absolutely killing me not to share. The news I have coming is awesome and if you live in Creston you are going to be just as excited as I am! Trust me, it's totally rad. The bad news is, my blogs are going to be less for a while as I've got way too much on my plate.

EEEEEEEKS! I'm so stoked.

The WOW Trees

Today was the last day of classes for some of my TREE students. Here is some of their finished work:

Carter - Age 5 (I know, WOW). This is incredibly awesome for his age.

Morgan - Age 6 (another WOW). I love the variation of lines on her trees. Very creative and also very awesome for her age.And Sarah - Age 11. One white version and one black.

I love how the white version is so beautiful and the black version is so eerie. Very cool.

Great job guys and girls! These all turned out great. I'd frame any of them and hang them on my wall.

March - Art Classes for Kids

Trees

We are studying TREES this month in Art Classes for Kids. Next week is the last class for this month where we will be putting the finishing touches on all our "in-progress" art. I can hardly wait. I feel like a little kid waiting for Christmas morning!

On another note, I've got some exciting news coming soon. I can't share yet but I'm absolutely BURSTING with excitement. EEEEEEEKS.
