Wow. I haven't blogged since last Friday and it feels like forever. I normally don't miss that many days in a row but Grady and I traveled to Vancouver and although I had good intentions of blogging while I was away, we had way too much fun and I just couldn't bring myself to be on the computer. It was such a wonderful and much needed break for me.
We traveled to Vancouver to attend a P.A.R.T.Y. coordinators meeting, but we extended our trip for a few days to make it well worth it. I had the pleasure of catching up with my good friend Carole. She's one of my most favorite people in the world and we had an awesome visit. It reminded me of why she's such a great friend... we can go almost a year without talking and when we get together, it's like we were never apart. She's awesome. Thanks Carole and Rob for being awesome hosts.
While in Vancouver, we also had the pleasure of spending an entire day at Granville Island. I was in absolute heaven... retail therapy at it's finest! I'm basically done my Christmas shopping and my kids are getting the coolest gifts ever. I'm pretty stoked about that.
Thanks Vancouver for being awesome and thanks Carole, for reminding me why our friendship is so special.
