Art Classes for Kids is looking for motivated students aged 7-12 (boys and girls) who want to explore their creative potential and refine their artistic skills for five days straight! We are sooooo excited. It's going to be SO MUCH FUN!
The week will be spent preparing for an evening production of Cinderella (which will take place on the Friday night - Aug 26). Don't worry, it won't be like the Cinderella you've seen a million times because we're artists, and we're going to put a super cool and original spin on things to make it a lot more exciting for the kids and the parents!
In preparation for the performance, the students will be working hands-on with props, set design, and they will even be designing their own costumes for the production! And that's not all... the children will also be creating a surprise work of art which will act as part of the set design in the final production. Oh my goodness.... this is gonna be the coolest art camp, like...ummm.... EVER!!
Brandy Dyer will be teaching the art portion of the camp. She will assist the children in designing their costumes, the set, and she'll also assist them in producing their surprise works of art. Simone Weibe will be writing the script for the play and will be teaching the acting/drama portion of the camp.
