So... I went to the second hand store to buy a dresser for a little do-it-yourself project I've got up my sleeve. But, while I was there, I got side tracked and fell in love with a chair.
I don't want to show you a photograph of it because it will ruin the whole REVEAL of my bedroom that is soon to come, so I've drawn a quick sketch. The seat is black leather with little gold tacks... and the upper back is cow hide. It's got dark charcoal-ish horns attached. Black legs. And the more I describe it, the more hideous it starts to sound...
Okay, ya, in the sketch it looks like something out of The Last of the Mohicans, I get that.... but it's super cool in real life and if you follow home decor styles at all, you'd know that pieces like this are the way forward right now.
Anyway, when I bought it, the owner of the store told me that "out of all my customers, you are the one that I'd LEAST expect to be buying this chair!" Uh oh.... what does that mean? So then I came back to work and told my employee what chair I had bought and he went on to ask, "Ummm... ya.... so are you enjoying the crack-cocaine you've been smoking?"
Okay seriously, the chair is cool! And I don't care if people think I'm on crack for buying it, it's awesome and trendy and I'm sure there are designers somewhere in the world that would be super jealous of my good find. Dammit!
